jinp6301 Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 thanks to me for telling hopstrech about the ebay seller
Knuckledragger Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 Good question. The future wiring arrangement of my setup is more than a little unclear. I'll let you know when the sawzalls have stopped.
aardvark baguette Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 I never realized Quad offered an active monitor. Everything I've seen had standard binding posts. Interesting....
Old Pa Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 $3G of AFL, $2G of JCI and $1G of P&G for my DRIPS, 8 quart La Crueset Oval French Oven for the stove.

Hopstretch Posted September 20, 2008 Report Posted September 20, 2008 For the wife's office, where she can't get away with speakers. This will hide under the monitor stand. As for the encomiums, we shall see.
naamanf Posted September 20, 2008 Report Posted September 20, 2008 Looks interesting. Let us know how it sounds.
krrm Posted September 20, 2008 Report Posted September 20, 2008 I also want a bass battery behind the grille. On second thought, I got a DT770 so I don't want a bass battery.
Hopstretch Posted September 20, 2008 Report Posted September 20, 2008 Oh ye of little faith! Attaching the rechargeable battery to the woofer diaphragm in order to increase its mass sounds like a potentially cunning idea to me, but then I am an ignoramus.
Grand Enigma Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 Beer has arrived. Love how you had it sent to the office 3 cases even... think that is enough?

Hopstretch Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 we have a large commercial fridge at work full of beer Gotta love tech companies! Yeah, we had a vending machine full of free beer in my old office in Amsterdam. Friday afternoons were reserved for "team-building" (ie. giant piss-ups), darts and betting on whether the country manager and the head of the works council would get into another fistfight. Good times.
Augsburger Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 Very understated and elegant because they know they have a fine product and the labels on their Bond series are the same.
