Eric5676
I still view the SNES time as the Golden Age for console gaming, as a whole. What a great system that was...and still is!

Shurado
Holy crap, I've seen some yellowed SNES but yours is by far the most yellow of all! I still have my SNES and it's still got its lavendar tint. The cartridges are starting to go wonky though. Especially my FF3. *sigh*

No one in my family smokes, it's just been sitting in its original box for around 10 years. Maybe the styrofoam had something to do with it... hungrych
Wow, I thought it was a limited edition "gold" one or something that had worn. That's pretty yellowed..
mirumu
Yeah I'm not sure what happened. No one in my family smokes, it's just been sitting in its original box for around 10 years. Maybe the styrofoam had something to do with it... My early model PS1 has done much the same thing. Oddly though my SNES hasn't.
JBLoudG20
Secret of Mana is one of the best games ever. It still fetches some serious money on Ebay, though I'll never part with my copy.

Yeah I was looking up some of the prices on the SquareSoft stuff, it's a little silly. Then again I never was a fan of emulators, so I guess there's others that like having the original controller/playing it on their TV. philodox
Thats awesome, I've been loving the old games on my Wii... no secret of mana yet though.
Eric5676
We all agree on the Secret of Mana lovin' in this thread, it seems, so out of justice I have to mention a game that I loved just as much if not arguably more: Secret of Evermore. n_maher
Damn you guys and all your gaming system talk. I was already teetering on the brink of picking up a PS-2 and this thread pushed me over the edge. Found a killer deal on craigslist locally that includes not only the game that wanted (GT4) but this:

In any event, yes, an Earthbound sequel needs to happen and would indeed be very huge. That's a classic!
