Pars Posted August 15, 2018 Report Posted August 15, 2018 Got an email on these today: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/massdrop-x-mee-audio-planamic-in-ear-monitors?utm_source=Iterable&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=ccu_massdrop_x_mee_audio_planamic_in_ear_monitors&referer=K6U6H7&mode=guest_open&iterableCampaignId=367303&iterableTemplateId=527199#login Color me interested, as I find I really like planars. Of course it could all be hype/bullshit (haven't done ANY research). 1
Dusty Chalk Posted August 15, 2018 Report Posted August 15, 2018 Interesting. Sounds appealing. I'm probably out at $150, but that's because I'm cheap. But...is this the Sennheiser connector, or is it slightly different? If it is, does that mean I can try a Cardas cable on them?
Torpedo Posted August 15, 2018 Report Posted August 15, 2018 The design of the driver doesn't really seem "pure" planar magnetic But I like the idea of a single driver. I've never been a fan of crossovers and complicated frequency solutions. Anyway, I need a new pair of IEMs as I need a shot in the foot. If any of you gets them, please report, still curious. 1
grawk Posted August 15, 2018 Report Posted August 15, 2018 Throes cables look like the normal iem cables used by Westone and others
