Post Posted April 8, 2006 Report Posted April 8, 2006 What the heck? I guess that proves I'm not part of the DIY community. I didn't even know Rick was banned until someone just posted that "who has the most posts" thread on head-fi and I didn't see rick's name in the third slot behind me and ed. Someday I'll pick up a soldering iron to bug you guys with questions - in about 15 years, when my kid's left the house!
ojnihs Posted April 8, 2006 Report Posted April 8, 2006 Except this time, you can add him to your ignore list. And doesn't it usually stay in the ignore list with PHP even when he becomes a mod again later, as long as you added him in the ignore list when he is a standard member? -Ed After being at head-fi for two plus years, I'd say that finally being able to put Rick on ignore made me feel...well...great
Edwood Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 non-commercial means NO MONEY. No paid ads, No sponsored threads... that kind of stuff. Its the rules for being a "not for profit" However if someone wants to donate another dual proc xeon machine stuffed with 2gb or more of memory and mirrored scsi drives, I'll find a way to accept it. I personally supplied the first one... Can we start a donation and an offering wishlist at Head-wize? I'm sure between all of us, we can at least scrounge up enough spare parts to help out. If you don't mind having to deal with an influx of multiple components and assembling a PC from scratch, perhaps incomplete for some time until all parts are in. -Ed
