Emooze Posted May 21, 2016 Report Posted May 21, 2016 No idea what that is but damn, did you hand-solder that? Fuck. 1
swt61 Posted May 21, 2016 Report Posted May 21, 2016 That's Volkswagon's clean diesel technology PCB. 2

JoaMat Posted May 22, 2016 Report Posted May 22, 2016 Great! Ā T2 current sources with c4686 instead of c3675?

luvdunhill Posted May 27, 2016 Author Report Posted May 27, 2016 Ok, got a differential front end (balanced-balanced and balanced-SE) working today and zeroed DC offset on a whole lot more of these little modules. Seems to perform really well! 7
luvdunhill Posted May 28, 2016 Author Report Posted May 28, 2016 Curve trace matching SOT transistors anyone? 2
kevin gilmore Posted May 28, 2016 Report Posted May 28, 2016 are you leaving the transistors on the mini boards, or are going to unsolder and use later.
luvdunhill Posted May 28, 2016 Author Report Posted May 28, 2016 I just hold them down with my tweezers and press "measure". Here are the curves: 3
luvdunhill Posted May 30, 2016 Author Report Posted May 30, 2016 Picked the wrong time to upgrade Diptrace. The old licenses aren't compatible with the new version so waiting for sales to help me upgrade. I am pretty sure my old license would work on the older version, if anyone was interested in a "slightly used" software license
Kerry Posted May 31, 2016 Report Posted May 31, 2016 I went through the upgrade recently.Ā I think it tookĀ couple of days all in. I like the new version
Dusty Chalk Posted May 31, 2016 Report Posted May 31, 2016 couple of days for a software upgrade?!?!?Ā I'm reading that wrong, I'm sure I am.

luvdunhill Posted May 31, 2016 Author Report Posted May 31, 2016 Yeah, they have to generate a new license. 1
Kerry Posted June 1, 2016 Report Posted June 1, 2016 The delay is because you need to get approved for the not-for-profit version.Ā I'm not sure how much faster it is for the regular versions. 1
Dusty Chalk Posted June 1, 2016 Report Posted June 1, 2016 Ah, okay, so the delay is because there's human intervention, and is on the human's part.Ā Thanks for explaining.
Kerry Posted June 17, 2016 Report Posted June 17, 2016 So I wanted to replace the foam in my 007 Mk1 headphones. I modeled them in up (I love having a mill ) and here's what I got... Ā 12
JoaMat Posted June 17, 2016 Report Posted June 17, 2016 Splendid! Nice work indeed. Iāve a mill, but have to figure out how to make the modelā¦
Kerry Posted June 17, 2016 Report Posted June 17, 2016 Thanks.Ā You need to get Fusion 360 and learn how to use itĀ Ā Ā It's from Autodesk and is free to individuals and small businesses.Ā It took me about 3 hours to model these.Ā Ā Ā 5
wokstarr26 Posted June 18, 2016 Report Posted June 18, 2016 Wow Me want mill. What type of mill are you using? Is it easy to use? I mean software wise?
n_maher Posted June 18, 2016 Report Posted June 18, 2016 Get ready for it, he's using his mill. Ā That he built. Ā I think maybe using another mill that he built. Ā Fantastic, Kerry, as usual. 3
