Looking good, that’s a lot to rub on. What version did you use?

I’m looking to switch to pre-cat lacquer for most of the stuff I’m doing. Applying by hand and waiting just takes to long.

For those that need a new safe saw, checkout out the Felder Kappa 550 with PCS.  It’s only a couple more bucks than a SawStop 🙄

I used the 1101 and planning on 3011 for the second coat.

Put together the Prusa. Hooked up a Pi for running Octopi and now building a case to mount the Pi directly to the Prusa.

Awesome! Given your other crafty talents, I'm keen to see what 3d printed widgets you are making.

Prusa Pi. My favorite, after Apple of course.

I don't speak your language, but I'm assuming that's some type of 3D printer app?

Raspberry Pi is a micro sized computer running Linux that is used as a controller for the 3D printer. Prusa is the brand of 3D printer, based out of Czech Republic.

So Raspberry Pi is also used to control music streamers?

I feel very old!

It gets even weirder, that little board even knows how to speak python! Why a raspberry pi needs to talk to snakes, who knows.

HA! I saw that on the front page of Thingiverse yesterday, nicely done.

A small box, to house incense for Fitz. It will have 4 drawers. Going to highlight the plywood edges, and stain it all. Carcass is cut, glued and assembled with micro pocket screws.

I like the look of those corner clamps. I have tried several varieties and have not liked the results from any.

How are those?

They're pretty good. These are Al's. What I like is that you can snug them up, tweak the wood, then clamp tight.

I wanted to stain the box, inside and out, before the drawer dividers made that almost impossible. I made sure to leave the datos stain free, so that I can get a good glue up on the dividers. Stained the 1/4" ply for the dividers as well. When I cut the dividers to fit, that will give me good unfinished edges for glue. I decided on Espresso. I think I may give it another coat once it dries. That'll require another day before I can get the dividers in, but I think a bit darker is what I'm looking for.
