That's quite the stack, Naaman, and those top two slabs on the left are pretty fricken epic. Those are for me, figured walnut, destined for a coffee table. And possibly part of a dining table if there is enough. 1

swt61 Posted March 16, 2021 Report Posted March 16, 2021 I was having a stroke and Al just laughed and continued taking pictures. Or I could have been acting like an idiot. Can't remember which. 6
n_maher Posted March 16, 2021 Report Posted March 16, 2021 The stroke has clearly affected short term memory. 3 2

Fitz Posted March 16, 2021 Report Posted March 16, 2021 I doubt the thing would even budge if I attempted something like that. 1 3
swt61 Posted March 16, 2021 Report Posted March 16, 2021 I was just shocked to see that they had concrete driveways in Arkansas! 1 1
Fitz Posted March 16, 2021 Report Posted March 16, 2021 Dr. Wood was complaining about this iPod not working right, with a suspected bad hard drive, so after some post office delays... A new battery that'll properly hold a charge should also be here soon. 8 2
naamanf Posted March 17, 2021 Report Posted March 17, 2021 Among all that nonsense I jointed some of the wood from Irion. All looks really nice so far. 4
Fitz Posted March 18, 2021 Report Posted March 18, 2021 That's quite the letter opener you got there.

If there is anything you need let me know, though I’m guessing shipping might make it cheaper to find a local source. Plus there is always the chance it could warp a little in the change in environments. Willing to help if I can though. 2

He's going to keep it for a week or so, to be sure everything is functioning correctly, after closing it all up inside the case. Having a 1tb. iPod with solid state drive is going to be very useful for me, and Fitz even stuffed a whole bunch of his music in there for me. Thanks Fitz! 5
swt61 Posted March 21, 2021 Report Posted March 21, 2021 Fitz says it's been running for about 24 hrs. Notice the battery life. 1
