Maybe I should make an effort to get my lazy ass back into space. Haven't really played since DK2 days, where mission and other bugs were rendering the game pretty much unplayable.

I'd definitely recommend giving it another shot. It's fundamentally still the same game and requires you to make your own goals, but the depth and polish has increased massively over the past few years. This is a great review of the current-ish (it came just before the 3.0 patch) state of Elite, particularly for VR Edited March 13, 2018 by Fitz

This is what I have parted out but quite honestly I have not kept up with any hardware developments. Thoughts?
