sorenb Posted February 23, 2016 Report Posted February 23, 2016 (edited) "Description (Gerbers) copper/pcb thicknes": Everything is one channel, and two will be needed for stereo. As for the KGSShv PSU, only the Single Right Skinny is offered: containing one High Voltage rail and a BIAS supply. Those who needs a full supply will need two of those + the Golden Reference Low Voltage. Überamp (Uber1 + Uber2) 4oz/2mm Unbal2bal (Uber3) 3oz/1.6mm Golden Reference Low Voltage (GoldenReference6) 3oz/1.6mm Transconductance Amp (CurrentSourceAmp2) 1.6mm/3oz KGSShv PSU (kgsshvpssicfetsinglenewright), 1.6mm/3oz KGSShv Carbon Amp (Carbonv6), 1.6mm/3oz Grounded Grid (.........) , 1.6mm/3oz (as requested by JoeHpj A spreadsheet here to keep track of everyones orders. Quotes are from PCBNet, and not yet confirmed but probably close. The spreadsheet will automatically update the final price based on the total amount. joehpj Posted February 23, 2016 Report Posted February 23, 2016 (edited) Two questions: 1.what's difference between Carbon V5/V6 2.would you please GB Ground Grid as well? PS: I think GB for ground grid DHT will be more convenient for those who want to use EL34 just need to connect the heater point-to-point. Thanks! Edit: checked the gerber. seems V6 shrinked a little bit from V5, other identical. Edited February 23, 2016 by joehpj
kevin gilmore Posted February 23, 2016 Report Posted February 23, 2016 the carbon for dht definitely works as does the kgbh-bipolar-dht the carbon for 6ca7 evidently does not work, congo5 has some spare boards contact him for a pair, might be an assembly error (doubtful) or some bad parts the shrunk boards fit a 100mm heatsink vertically.
gepardcv Posted February 23, 2016 Report Posted February 23, 2016 It says carbon v5 on the spreadsheet but v6 in the thread here. Which is it?
sorenb Posted February 23, 2016 Author Report Posted February 23, 2016 Carbon v6, I'll update the sheet, thanks
sorenb Posted February 24, 2016 Author Report Posted February 24, 2016 Carbon + PSU quotes from PCB added to the sheet. The Row line specifying the actual board name is now conditionally formatted, will be red if total amount is lower than 20.
chinsettawong Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 Is Uberamp the amp that can drive ESL?
Walter Reyno Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 any chance for updated circlotron output boards for the Nanotube?
kevin gilmore Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 uberamp will drive anything i can think of. no protection circuits of any kind, and just about unlimited current capability. 2
kevin gilmore Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 With a sine wave generator driving the amp, would make a perfect tig welder. Change the frequency to control bead size.
brazilnut79 Posted February 25, 2016 Report Posted February 25, 2016 Duty cycle estimate? ..Seriously; Don't yet own a mig, tig or stick yet. Inaugural use for an adjustable stone-top speaker stand fastened to standing-shaft über-welded steel plate? I just need to find the wide base hand-Crank.
FallenAngel Posted February 29, 2016 Report Posted February 29, 2016 What's the estimated time frame for this group buy? As in, when will the order be placed and shipped out?
sorenb Posted March 1, 2016 Author Report Posted March 1, 2016 (edited) ...I will go ahead and place the order except for Grounded Grid.and Über unbal2bal. I have locked the prices (might change a bit when ordering due to some quotes were done for 2oz and not 3oz). Please do transfer the amount listed in "Price total" to my paypal account: xxx@hotmail,com, putting "Group Buy, Uber" and Head-Case ID into the notes field. Current Price doesn't include Grounded Grid nor Über unbal2bal. Shipping will be added later. I'll update the sheet whenever I have received payment. The shipping for US/Canada is done from US, Maryland (Thanks to Jay) and for non-US/Canada, from Denmark. Edited May 1, 2019 by sorenb
mypasswordis Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 Are you grouping these boards for shipping with the attenuator boards for those who ordered both?
GeorgeP Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 Pm'd, but thought I would post it here in case others were wondering - is there still time to add one's name to the spreadsheet?
kevin gilmore Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 congo5 wants me to make the output transistor mounting holes an additional .1 inch, so there will be another board rev. board will be .2 inches bigger, so might slightly influence price.
