Are there any tube socket adapters worth getting for a PPX3 Slam with native 6sn7? I've got the itch to roll.

Lots .... ECC TYPE #1 = 5965/ 6414/ 6829/ 7062/ 12AT7/ 12AU7/ 12AV7 .... Possibly more if you have a texture control.

ECC TYPE #2 = 6BC8/ 6DJ8/ 6922/ 6CG7/ 12BH7

7N7 adapter = 7AF7/ 7N7

Wait... does the 6922 and the 6cg7 have the same pin out? Isn't the 6cg7/6gu7/6fq7 it's own adapter?

Yup, I have texture control. You mean I'll actually be able to use texture control for something?

Well... If you use the 12ax7 which has a amplification factor of 100 or the 5751 which is a gain of 70 vs a 12au7 at about 20, you might want to use your texture control in order to get some use of your volume control ;)

Seriously, the board even gives you a warning when you try to post in a inactive thread. It'll tell you that you're digging up some ancient thread, and then ask if you still want to post in it.
