postjack Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 Are there any tube socket adapters worth getting for a PPX3 Slam with native 6sn7? I've got the itch to roll.

ECC TYPE #2 = 6BC8/ 6DJ8/ 6922/ 6CG7/ 12BH7 7N7 adapter = 7AF7/ 7N7 Yup, I have texture control. You mean I'll actually be able to use texture control for something?
PFKMan23 Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 Well... If you use the 12ax7 which has a amplification factor of 100 or the 5751 which is a gain of 70 vs a 12au7 at about 20, you might want to use your texture control in order to get some use of your volume control
Marconisalad Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 If you feel like waiting a year... PM me I'm selling my ECC#1.
Salt Peanuts Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 PM me I'm selling my ECC#1. You realize you're digging up 7 months old thread, right? Oh, and he doesn't have his SP amp anymore.
aerius Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Seriously, the board even gives you a warning when you try to post in a inactive thread. It'll tell you that you're digging up some ancient thread, and then ask if you still want to post in it.
