purk Posted May 18, 2017 Report Posted May 18, 2017 Undersized guard against the King....that's just rough. Sorry guys, but Lebron will cake walk to the Final just like the last 7 years. 1
mypasswordis Posted May 18, 2017 Report Posted May 18, 2017 Agreed that Wizards series would have been way more exciting :/ All these blowout sweeps are super boring, albeit sometimes hilarious.
purk Posted May 18, 2017 Report Posted May 18, 2017 I feel bad for Spurs. Without Parker and Leonard, they stand no chance against the Warriors. Can't wait until the Final!
TMoney Posted May 18, 2017 Author Report Posted May 18, 2017 This is quickly becoming my favorite new blog on the NBA: https://cleaningtheglass.com/flipping-the-switch/ Former Portland front office guy who has a very strong grasp of the X's and O's.
Aura Posted May 18, 2017 Report Posted May 18, 2017 I typed out a rant about how this league is pretty boring right now. But whatever. I'll just accept that Golden State vs. Cleveland was inevitable and that Lebron is indeed the king. 1
guzziguy Posted May 19, 2017 Report Posted May 19, 2017 Don't worry. Things will be a lot more exciting when LeVar Ball is Commissioner. 1
crappyjones123 Posted May 20, 2017 Report Posted May 20, 2017 I think a middle school travel team would have scored more points by now. Celtics are really stinking it up this series. 1
TMoney Posted May 20, 2017 Author Report Posted May 20, 2017 (edited) Just amazing. Call the police. This is a crime scene. Someone has been murdered. Edited May 20, 2017 by TMoney
tkam Posted May 20, 2017 Report Posted May 20, 2017 LeBron is quietly doing a nice job of making an argument for overtaking Jordan as the GOAT....

TMoney Posted May 22, 2017 Author Report Posted May 22, 2017 (edited) I'll give credit where credit is due, kudos to Boston for salvaging some dignity. Edited May 23, 2017 by TMoney 1
TMoney Posted May 23, 2017 Author Report Posted May 23, 2017 (edited) We want him. We want the King. -- This is going to be a huge series for the legacies of Steph and KD. If they do not cross the finish line they are going to take some HUGE criticism. I think LeBron's place is pretty secure, but if he wins this he really does belong right up there at the top with MJ. mypasswordis Posted May 24, 2017 Report Posted May 24, 2017 Lebron has been sitting on the bench with 4 fouls with a ton of time left in the first half, and the Celts are losing their lead bad.. sweet baby jesus At this rate, GSW has a legitimate chance of sweeping the Cavs, but I really hope not for the sake of having an actually interesting finals
TMoney Posted May 24, 2017 Author Report Posted May 24, 2017 Kyrie to the damn rescue! I am picking Warriors in 5. If they do not turn the ball over or give up offensive rebounds they "should" win. If they do either of those things its going to be a dog fight.

TMoney Posted May 24, 2017 Author Report Posted May 24, 2017 The King is the King, and certainly when he is on the top of his game then anything is possible. If that happens the collective butt-hurt around here would reach the kind of levels at which President Trump would be forced to declare a national crisis and get FEMA involved.

Exactly But I think pretty much everyone except diehard Cleveland and Lebron fans would agree that last year was a different situation, which the Cavs benefited from just like GSW did the year before. Steph and Iguodala were banged up, Bogut got injured, and Draymond got suspended (rightfully so). This year, Iggy still doesn't seem to be 100% but Steph is and they got the Slim Reaper and Dray to battle the King. Warriors are too damn stacked Adam I still can't tell which team you're rooting for
TMoney Posted May 24, 2017 Author Report Posted May 24, 2017 I can thank the Baron Davis "We Believe" Warriors of 2006-07. That is the team that made me a basketball fan. I still remember cheering loudly and watching the playoff games with college buddies at the Ram's Head Tavern in Annapolis, MD. 1
TMoney Posted June 1, 2017 Author Report Posted June 1, 2017 I've been at work only an hour and I'm already amped up for tonight's game. This is going to be a long day.
mypasswordis Posted June 1, 2017 Report Posted June 1, 2017 Lucky! I'm going to miss game 1 will have to avoid everyone and everything until I at least watch highlights.
robm321 Posted June 2, 2017 Report Posted June 2, 2017 And so it begins. Go Warriors!Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
Aura Posted June 2, 2017 Report Posted June 2, 2017 Outside of the first 8-9 minutes of the game, Cleveland is playing like shit and Golden State is not. 1
