TMoney Posted March 22, 2017 Author Report Posted March 22, 2017 Another very interesting piece from ESPN: http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/page/presents18969358/nexus-partying-winning-nba It looks at the decline in home court advantage since the NBA's wild days in the 70's/80's. 1
TMoney Posted April 13, 2017 Author Report Posted April 13, 2017 https://cleaningtheglass.com/why-are-these-games-different-from-all-other-games/ On why the NBA playoffs are so much fun: "[There are] three important ways that the playoffs are different from the regular season: they are more intense, they are more strategic, and they are more exhausting."
n3rdling Posted April 14, 2017 Report Posted April 14, 2017 Let's go Jazz! Can't wait for the national audience to see how special Gobert is. I'll be at Game 1 in LA. 1

mypasswordis Posted April 14, 2017 Report Posted April 14, 2017 All I want is for Lance to blow in LeBron's ear again. 1
TMoney Posted April 14, 2017 Author Report Posted April 14, 2017 I'm psyched as hell to watch the beard-man and the wild-man go at it. That is going to be one heck of a fun 1st round series. Once we get to the 2nd round things should really heat up. 1
mypasswordis Posted April 14, 2017 Report Posted April 14, 2017 Hell yeah, the Raptors and Celtics are legit this year.
n3rdling Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 Went to game 1 with my friend who's a Clippers fan. My first time seeing the Jazz and I picked one hell of a game to go to! Bummed about Gobert getting hurt 17 sec into the game. Here's the game winner from my POV 1

jvlgato Posted April 26, 2017 Report Posted April 26, 2017 Local news says Rondo is practicing. May play with his broken thumb.
Aura Posted April 26, 2017 Report Posted April 26, 2017 Pretty crazy but they desperately need him. Took a total 180 with him on the bench.
TMoney Posted April 26, 2017 Author Report Posted April 26, 2017 Tonight is the night if the Bulls are going to have a realistic shot at taking the series. It sounds like Rondo is out and Vegas has the Celts as 7.5 favs so it is going to be tough.
TMoney Posted May 3, 2017 Author Report Posted May 3, 2017 I've got to hand it to the little man. He loses his sister, gets his tooth knocked out, then comes out and puts 53 on the Wiz in an overtime win. Pretty damn impressive. Oh, and he was the last pick in the draft and is the shortest guy in the NBA. 3
TMoney Posted May 9, 2017 Author Report Posted May 9, 2017 As if the world needed more proof that Kevin Garnett is awesome. "Soldiers eat first!" 1
mypasswordis Posted May 13, 2017 Report Posted May 13, 2017 The Ray Allen drama is annoying, though... I hate reporters always trying to instigate and start drama to get some juicy headline Celtics wore all black today... let's see if it backfires. Go Wiz!
mypasswordis Posted May 13, 2017 Report Posted May 13, 2017 Hooray! Best PG in the league <3 can't wait for game 7
mypasswordis Posted May 15, 2017 Report Posted May 15, 2017 http://nba.nbcsports.com/2017/05/15/gregg-popovich-on-zaza-pachulia-injuring-kawhi-leonard-who-gives-a-damn-about-what-his-intent-was-you-ever-hear-of-manslaughter/
mypasswordis Posted May 18, 2017 Report Posted May 18, 2017 Still better to be a Net than a Knick at this point, but the two NY teams are by far the worst in the league.... Man, this is a straight up massacre. The Raptors mentally collapsed even before the series started but I don't know what to call this. It's like a high school varsity team playing against middle schoolers. 1
TMoney Posted May 18, 2017 Author Report Posted May 18, 2017 If there were going to play like cowards they should have at least let Washington have a crack at Cleveland. 1
