ojnihs Posted April 1, 2007 Report Posted April 1, 2007 Well...my computer speakers finally died and I'm looking to replace them with what little money I have left of my college budget. Anyone got any suggestions for relatively cheap, but good sounding computer speakers? I'm not looking for anything fancy. Thanks, Dave
ojnihs Posted April 1, 2007 Author Report Posted April 1, 2007 what is cheap? the Swan M200s would probably be a good choice. Good point...I think the Swans are a bit out of my price range unfortunately, I was thinking like less than $150 ($125 would be better). I'm just really broke right now.
Dusty Chalk Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 Do you have a spare amp lying around, or do they need to be powered?
ojnihs Posted April 2, 2007 Author Report Posted April 2, 2007 I don't unfortunately, but I did go ahead and buy a cheap pair of speakers from amazon. I bought the Creative Gigaworks T20 speakers off of a recommendation from a school friend who happens to be on head-fi (tennisets). He says they do the job, so that's all I need.
