Heck I've even seen these sell for $3k with the AKG speaker adaptor. $1.2-1.5k is about the price range I've seen for them these days. With original box and all. Quote

Now I have a pair that isn't going anywhere soon.....hard-wired with Stefan Audio Art cable with unterminated wire at the speaker end. Quote
