mypasswordis Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 Head-Case, never (hopefully). Definitely stole the look from the B&O U70, but was then beaten with an ugly stick for being a bad kid. Or just given a variety of fruity colors.
Salt Peanuts Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 Reminiscent of Ergo cans and Jecklins, too.
mypasswordis Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 I think they're reminiscent just in the boxiness. The Quarts kind of look more similar:
Augsburger Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 Meh. I now have tubes from my office rig that now look like that bimmers finish. No biggy.

Superpredator Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 My uncle's newest creation, as posted to Facebook. I was tagged as being in this photo, along with about ten other people. Solar Panel Passivly Bio-mimicing a Heliotropic Flower - Automated squirt bottle delivers a jet of water at a frequency of every 10 sec., 6 x / min., or 360x / hr. This little solar panel ( 2 cells in series ) produces 13v and @ 80 milliamps - charge is stored in the blue capacitors in the yellow sandwich box and is released every 10 sec. driving a solenoid triggered squirt bottle. The panel is to track the sun with out any power consuming motor(s) via bio-mimicry. So far everything works but the passive tracking. Considering Nitinol Springs in conjunction with Fresnel-style lensing in the form of a curved strip in order to achieve the tracking effect.
Dusty Chalk Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 (edited) Lio is probably my favorite current newspaper comic strip. Alternate version: Edited April 28, 2010 by Dusty Chalk
mypasswordis Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 At first I thought to-do list was actually things to do. Bag and mom kind of made sense, but shovel didn't, and the rest of the strip didn't.
