Hopstretch Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Maybe we're too male, generally, to be the target market?
Hopstretch Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Breaking Glass with Sound. See that and raise you Pickle TV.
Dusty Chalk Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Whatever happened to OLED technology, wasn't that supposed to take over LCD's? PS Both, really cool.
Hopstretch Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Having a little trouble attaining economies of scale, I think it's fair to say. This is pretty funny. (And not just the fact that people will apparently willingly eat it.) Vegemite iSnack2.0? Crikey! On the button
Beefy Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Heh, surely the biggest marketing fuck up that Australia has ever seen. There isn't a single person in the whole country who thinks the name is a good idea, and any notion that all publicity is good publicity is completely out the window.
archosman Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Whatever happened to OLED technology, wasn't that supposed to take over LCD's? PS Both, really cool. It's still very expensive and they're having a few technical issues. Life expectancy for one and some color consistency issues. The one thing it will do once they work it all out is it will produce a true white. Makes calibration and true representation of colors a good thing. Working in the tv biz I saw Sony's first color-grade LCD for post production about a year ago. 20 inch LCD and a $1000 an inch. Pretty impressive for an LCD. It's still no glass monitor. I am interested in what the scoop is with laserTV. Supposedly a few of those have hit the marketplace.
swt61 Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 I wonder, is the groundhog puppet there to blame his anti semitic rantings on, or is it just a place to hide the booze? Either way, he's bent everyone else's ass out of shape, why not a groundhog too.
n_maher Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Breaking Glass with Sound. Pfffft.
Dusty Chalk Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 My co-worker is so funny. He broke his middle finger. So he's showing everyone The Finger, and telling people that because of it, he can't drive.
swt61 Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 My co-worker shows me his middle finger daily. I never considered he was joking with me, now I feel better.

catscratch Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 Solid photography. Frightening parade. I remember similar parades in the Red Square once upon a time a little too well.

Chekhonte Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 I always like it when people unashamedly admit to things like this. Granted it would have got out and he would have had to address it at some point-it's still nice to see people do it.
Hopstretch Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 I always like it when people unashamedly admit to things like this. Granted it would have got out and he would have had to address it at some point-it's still nice to see people do it. Depends on the back story. If he's been using his position to coerce goodies from female underlings, then he's damn well got something to be ashamed of.
Chekhonte Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 I'm sure that ethics come into play but but how you handle it shows your mettle. Take how clinton handled scandle vs how letterman did. He comes off looking much better than clinton.
Hopstretch Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 I'm sure that ethics come into play but but how you handle it shows your mettle. I'd say how you behave in the first place is what truly shows your mettle. But I take your point about coming clean.
Chekhonte Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 I see your point too. I guess that it comes down to the fact that I used to behave badly and treated people terribly and have more empathy for people have also been dicks and have gumption to own up to it.
