It includes a nifty slide show on QRP.

acidbasement
Not headphone-specific industry news, but Sony just announced that it will shut all Sony stores in Canada.
grawk
sony AND target. Canada must not like nice things.
Hopstretch
You've got it backwards. Nice things just don't understand the Canadian market.
CarlSeibert
I didn't know that Sony even had stores. But life without target would be bleak.
acidbasement
Target moved into Canada just a few years ago, and they never got traction. They weren't as cheap as the US stores, and their stores were never as well-stocked as walmart, so people just kept shopping at walmart. grawk
plus, canadians are walmart's people. Canada doesn't deserve nice things.

Salt Peanuts
So how are Tim Hortons? I've seen them but have never gone to one.
nikongod
So how are Tim Hortons? I've seen them but have never gone to one. Kinda the same as Dunkin Donuts, in a different way. I kinda prefer Tim Horton. There are a few in NYC.
acidbasement
do they have K Mart? they might really love it We used to have K Mart, but not anymore. We still have Hudson Bay Company, which is pretty excellent, though for awhile it was owned by an American company - not sure if it still is. So how are Tim Hortons? I've seen them but have never gone to one. Tim Hortons used to be okay, but around the turn of the millenium they stopped making doughnuts in-house and now they ship them in from a central facility. The coffee is nasty, too, which is why most people order double-doubles (two milks, two sugars - do you call it that in the USA?). The only reason they're so popular in Canada is that they've somehow convinced everyone that it's the only patriotic Canadian place to get coffee. GeorgeP
Yeah, they're right up there, close to hockey (even though bought out by the King) - like a licence to print money.

We went up to Montreal & Quebec City last year, and on the way up stopped at a Tim Horton. All 3 of us quite disappointed.....very nice folks serving us, but food & coffee quality sub-par. Voltron
Double Double has nothing to do with coffee here, Iain. Now I'm hungry and want to go to In N Out
acidbasement
We have no In n Out, at least in western Canada. This country is vast though, and I know not what wonders may exist east of Winnipeg.
blessingx
If you Google Image search "east of Winnipeg" the mystery is solved - basically snow and car crashes.
