tyrion Posted December 25, 2015 Report Posted December 25, 2015 Nice pack Nate! Now you can join Jp, Raffy and me backpacking the AT in April. Quote
n_maher Posted December 25, 2015 Report Posted December 25, 2015 Ha! I'd love to, actually but it seems pretty unlikely. Plus, this pack is really just a day tripper and supremely overkill for that. But this is HC after all. Quote

GrindingThud Posted December 26, 2015 Report Posted December 26, 2015 Cool, I've got MD almost done, catching Devils racetrack and working north into PA next. Probably mid Jan. Quote

[emoji4] If you have any suggestions for a two nighter in the area, 8 to 10 miles a day, post it. Thanks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote
GrindingThud Posted December 27, 2015 Report Posted December 27, 2015 I've got no suggestions yet for Pennsylvania, as I've not been there yet. If I come up with any, I'll drop my ideas here. I do like this website http://www.cnyhiking.com/ATinPennsylvania.htm for information, as well as the whiteblaze forum. You can do all of Maryland in 3 days (some do it in 24 hours). Harpers Ferry is fun and moving north, the terrain is very easy and the shelters are closely spaced along the way....parking is easy too. Quote
grawk Posted December 27, 2015 Report Posted December 27, 2015 I like the catoctin part of the AT in northern maryland. Quote
nikongod Posted December 27, 2015 Report Posted December 27, 2015 I'm intersted in tagging along for a 3-day AT trip through penn. Quote
