nikongod Posted January 13, 2015 Report Posted January 13, 2015 you should diy a foam mattress using your own custom combination of foams Wait. You can do that?
MexicanDragon Posted January 13, 2015 Report Posted January 13, 2015 A friend wanted a new couch. He sourced the foam by asking people to send off for free samples from one of the big guys. His couch is amazing. **BRENT** 1
manaox2 Posted January 16, 2015 Report Posted January 16, 2015 Got a new new bed to hope in. I purchased a Leesa full, it has the same 100 days policy and 10 year warranty with using a code for $100 off. $690 for a full mattress with shipping. It seems to be competing with the Casper. 1
shellylh Posted January 16, 2015 Author Report Posted January 16, 2015 I put off buying my new mattress until after the holidays. I guess it is good since I don't need a king size bed anymore (I did already buy a king sized frame already though). Now I am wondering if it is worth getting a full size instead of queen when I get around to it. I do have a lot of queen size sheets though. Damn, I wish I had a new bed.
Voltron Posted January 16, 2015 Report Posted January 16, 2015 Queen is the minimum even though you're not a large person. Full size is not an adult option. 3
manaox2 Posted January 16, 2015 Report Posted January 16, 2015 I would rather have paid the $100 extra for the queen myself, it just would not fit my bedroom and frame I already have and I'm cheap enough currently to just deal with that. I will upgrade to the queen as soon as possible when I find a new living arrangement.
shellylh Posted January 16, 2015 Author Report Posted January 16, 2015 Ok maybe I'll stick with a queen.
blubliss Posted January 16, 2015 Report Posted January 16, 2015 ...Full size is not an adult option. I am stuck in a twin xl, room is too small
luvdunhill Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 I would go with a king myself, mostly because I would sleep solo on the diagonal 2
luvdunhill Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 At least someone agrees that a king would be a rational choice
Voltron Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 King is the only way to go for me as well.
blessingx Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 Here's another. As long as the room proportionally supports it the only question is King or Cal King. 1
Voltron Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 California King is really what I need but I fucked up both times and got the regular.
morphsci Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 California King is really what I need but I fucked up both times and got the regular. ^^^This!
cetoole Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 (edited) I only have a queen, as that is what my bedroom in Hoboken could support without completely blocking the hallway leading to the living room. If I was to buy again, I'd go king or california king, but not worth changing now. Ooh, San Francisco king looks nice! Edited January 19, 2015 by cetoole
Grahame Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 A San Fransisco Queen is something else entirely, right Steve?
n3rdling Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 Al Jefferson bed is what it's all about
Augsburger Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 We have a California king which provides plenty of room even though I am forced to spend many a night on the couch due to my "inappropriate acerbic humor". There are many more sheet and duvet options for king and California king, never heard of the San Francisco King.

cutestory Posted May 24, 2015 Report Posted May 24, 2015 Went and tried a Casper today in their ridiculous LA showroom. It was pretty nice, but Jackie was not impressed. We went to a Sit and Sleep, and I walked in there pretty hostile, based on what I know about mattress salespeeps. Tried an Aireloom and was intrigued, then got on a Tempur-pedic Contour Rhapsody Breeze... Probably pulling the trigger on the Tempur-pedic tomorrow. Jackie thinks it's a little "goopy," but I love the support. And the cooling layer is cooling. 3
blessingx Posted May 24, 2015 Report Posted May 24, 2015 Curious what firmness levels you end up with. Their pillows too?
