Hopstretch Posted February 14, 2019 Author Report Posted February 14, 2019 In light of recent news, the "what the fuck's wrong with me?" line seems to also apply outside the drug metaphor? 1
en480c4 Posted February 14, 2019 Report Posted February 14, 2019 Listening over and over and over again... 1 1
Voltron Posted February 14, 2019 Report Posted February 14, 2019 The four song EP is all here: https://www.kerrang.com/the-news/hear-the-haunting-new-a-a-williams-ep-now/ 1
Dusty Chalk Posted February 14, 2019 Report Posted February 14, 2019 Oh hell yeah, that climax starting at 2:16... And thanks for the indirect Bandcamp link, Al.
Dusty Chalk Posted February 16, 2019 Report Posted February 16, 2019 Speaking of on repeat, this is epic: 4 hours ago, Aimless1 said: I have their first album. I don't remember it sounding anything like this. 2
Dusty Chalk Posted February 16, 2019 Report Posted February 16, 2019 I saw boobies. For a fraction of a second, but I did. Also: I have their first album, and that's exactly what I remember them sounding like. Dig!
Dusty Chalk Posted February 17, 2019 Report Posted February 17, 2019 Tried to figure out who the soprano is on this version of Miserere (the one pictured, hits the high notes): Looks like it's a one Josephine Stephenson. While trying to figure out whether she ever sung Solvejg's Song (Grieg), found out she does a lot of work in the alternative music community, not just classical choir: (She's not Elena Tonra, I know that, I think she's playing keyboards and singing backing vocals.) She's 1/3 of Listenpony, whatever that means (this one is weird): And I don't know what this has to do with anything (edit: I do now, she directs the choir on backing vocals), I just like it (RIYL Kate Bush):
Voltron Posted February 18, 2019 Report Posted February 18, 2019 I came across this band drinking in Tahoe City, not streaming, but you can check them out by streaming if you wish. Pronounced krung-bin, obviously. 1

mikeymad Posted March 8, 2019 Report Posted March 8, 2019 Man this version of the dodie song sounds soooo good. 4
Hopstretch Posted March 17, 2019 Author Report Posted March 17, 2019 Feel like these guys maintain a very organic, analog sound. Does that make sense? 1
