Germany deserved it. They've been playing like a real team most of the games and making nice football, something Argentina failed to do, though this match they did pretty good. I feel like they're a rightful winner.

I am glad that it took a world class goal to win the tournament.

This.  Argentina had a very similar (even better) chance and the player bounced it too hard off his chest.  Congrat to Germany.  Maybe my wife should ask something extra from her boss (she works for SAP, HQ is Waldorf Germany)

I'm with you guys thet the German deserved it, but I don't think Messi deserved his award.  If Messi would have passed the ball more, Argentina may would have won.  The last freekick was also wasn't very good and didn't give his team any chance.

Ha! Mine is in Munich today for a meeting. Everyone will be so hungover and useless ...

Thought it was an excellent game. Argentina had their chances, but didn't take them.

If you followed the coverage after the game ended, the German players were joined by their WAGs (Wives and girlfriends) ...

What is it about well compensated athletes that would attract such specimens. Ahh the mysteries of the universe. Futbol is a funny old game ...

Well, this is 2015, and the Women's World Cup, but congratulations to Germany and France for the third best soccer game I have ever seen and No. 1, I saw live.

/\   /\   /\  Five straight shutouts and 513 minutes without conceding a goal, that makes pure hubba hubba as far as I am concerned.

What does that have to do with it? I know more than one 150lb person that I think would whup my ass. Anyway she also beat her sister and resisted arrest.

If someone who I thought could kill me came after me, I would not hold back. Never did and never would. But then again, I grew up on the South Side of Chicago, so that's how I roll. Anyway, I do not think anyone is blameless in this.

A comma would have done nicely in this poster for team England, methinks.

The team doesn't seem to mind the sentiment as stated, however.
