Grahame Posted October 3, 2014 Report Posted October 3, 2014 I am glad to say that not only did I get to go to Doug's, I got to go with this crew. Indeed. We Few, We Happy (Duck Fat Fries Fed) Few. 2 Quote

I was wrong again. He's just done. Good for Doug. Plus the article was written by a wicked beardster who doesn't look like he would let you call him a liar and walk away from the experience. Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted October 4, 2014 Report Posted October 4, 2014 If anyone is ever in the MD/DC area, DuClaws has some really awesome duck fat fries. Really, I mean it, they are superb, might have to get some tomorrow when I go visit my sisters. Quote

Aura Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Do not fret my friends... I have discovered a replacement. Chicago's Dog House on Fullerton. Recipe copied with direct input from Doug. Same vendor. Same ingredients. Slightly modified aioli but it tastes as close as you're gonna get. They put a decent amount more Foie Gras on top, to boot. The rest of the board. Mayor Daley and Snoop Dog. And dessert! Deep fried Twinkie. 3 Quote
Grahame Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Head Case wants to know, how long are the lines, and are there duck fat fries? Quote

Aura Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 These are not duck fat, but I never cared much for those personally. There was no line. We walked in and ordered in 20 seconds. Quote
Absorbine_Sr Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Good job Lil Bro. Looks like that might be a good January destination. 1 Quote
