Absorbine_Sr Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Rangers for the win - bring on game 7. Hawks have their hands full again tonight ... can they pull it out? Mike, you may have gotten more than you wished for by wanting Minnesota to beat the Avs. You're right Gene. Tonight went well, but going back to Minnesota makes me think this series will go seven.
Voltron Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 This Rangers-Pens game is utter chaos. But fun. They won even though you watched?! 1
agile_one Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 ^^^ What I was thinking. Keep watching, Dinny. Game 7 should be awesome. I'm looking for the Broons to avoid a game 7 by crushing Le Habs tonight. And, yes, I am watching.
Voltron Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Fuck it. I'm going to Toronado right now to watch the Broons. Maybe they have something from NE on tap...
Voltron Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 I got the surly bartender to put the game on in the back room and grabbed a Pliny figuring it was universal. Habs scored within seconds. D'oh!
The Monkey Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 The St. Louis post game speech was pretty awesome (for those few who might not know, his mom died a couple of days ago). He scored the opening goal on Mother's Day.
The Monkey Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 If I could, I'd jump on a flight and join you Al.
Voltron Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 It was looking like a possible blood bath at first but the Bruins woke up and spent some of the second half of the period in the Habs zone.
Voltron Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 Oh, yeah, and Emelin is a pussy. Power play goal time!
agile_one Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) Ouuch, that sucked! Bruins out skating Canadiens all over the ice, and Habs sneak one in. 0-2 near end of 2nd. Edited May 13, 2014 by agile_one
Voltron Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 Does Rask realize he's not supposed to lay down on the ice all the time?! Fuck me
Aura Posted May 13, 2014 Author Report Posted May 13, 2014 Sorry guys Going to be a wild game 7, no doubt.
Voltron Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 Rangers end the second up 1 -- rooting for them right up until they face off with the Bruins in the next round.
grawk Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 Woo! My 2nd favorite team just won the stanley cup!
skullguise Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 Congrats Rangers! Now for the Bruins to keep the other not-favorite team from the Conference finals.....they'll need a heck of a lot better effort than last night to do so, but they can do it at home!
grawk Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 I am equally a fan of not the bruins and not the rangers, so I'm falling back to the ducks
Aura Posted May 14, 2014 Author Report Posted May 14, 2014 (edited) Showtime does it again. Oh and Crawford was amazing tonight. Could have lost it so many times but he was a brick wall. Edited May 14, 2014 by Aura
