agile_one Posted April 25, 2014 Report Posted April 25, 2014 Woohoo! Bruins 3-2 in 1 OT. Back to Boston up 3 games to 1. Quote
Voltron Posted April 25, 2014 Report Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) Nice! Go Bruins! Edited April 25, 2014 by Voltron Quote
Voltron Posted April 25, 2014 Report Posted April 25, 2014 Sharks can't sweep but still have 98% statistical chance of winning the series. Quote
agile_one Posted April 26, 2014 Report Posted April 26, 2014 Bruins advance! Nice 4-2 win over the Wings, even if last was open net. Quote
grawk Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 redwings were 2nd on my list of 4 teams in the playoffs 1) not the penguins 2) redwings 3) ducks 4) not the rangers Quote
skullguise Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 ^^ Well, I guess the Bruins can in theory be #1 then..... BTW, what do you think of the shake-up in Caps-land? Sorry to see Oates go, one more piece of Ovie-collateral-damage? Quote
grawk Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Glad as hell to see oates go, hoping they bring in a veteran nhl coach and GM. Oates was too hung up on his "left shot left side, right shot right side" garbage to actually coach the team that he had. Hopefully Dick Patrick and Ted Leonsis weren't the real problems... Quote
HeadphoneAddict Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 The Avs game was something else tonight. All we need is to win game 6 and we move on. Quote
agile_one Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Good hockey yesterday, headed by Bruins win to advance. Avs - Wild game pretty intense. Pens may be starting to assert themselves, but not ready to count Columbus out yet with that series going back there. Sharks had nothing going on last night - hope they rebound to close it out in 6. The Monkey Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Going to the Rangers game today. Phuck Philly. Quote
agile_one Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Enjoy, Dinny. Will look for you in crowd. Quote
robm321 Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Yeah, good games yesterday other than Sharks laying an egg. They're still up though. Enjoy the game. Hope Philly gets destroyed. Quote
agile_one Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Nice work, Dinny. Rangers poised to put Philly away next game. Looked like a good game to see as a Ranger fan. Quote
agile_one Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Hawks are fired up at start of the 3rd. Two goals in two minutes to go up 3-1. Quote
Aura Posted April 27, 2014 Author Report Posted April 27, 2014 Go hawks. Great first round of hockey. Quote
The Monkey Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Nice work, Dinny. Rangers poised to put Philly away next game. Looked like a good game to see as a Ranger fan. Had the Little Monkey not pulled a "I don't feel well" mid way through the first period. Quote
Voltron Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Brutal, Dinny. Was he really ill or just not in the mood? Quote
skullguise Posted April 28, 2014 Report Posted April 28, 2014 Sorry to hear Dinny. Bring some Pepto next time Seriously, hope he is doing OK. And fuck, the Hawks look good. They could come out of the West again for the Finals. Quote
HeadphoneAddict Posted April 28, 2014 Report Posted April 28, 2014 Last night I noticed that everyone in the western division had either 3 or 2 wins going into the last 2 games. Pretty close competition. Quote
The Monkey Posted April 28, 2014 Report Posted April 28, 2014 Brutal, Dinny. Was he really ill or just not in the mood? Hard to tell. There was no barfing, but he fell asleep for 2 hours when we got home. That NEVER happens. There's no off button with that child so he hits the wall every 2-3 weeks and I suppose he was due. HE COULD HAVE TOLD ME IN ADVANCE THO Quote
agile_one Posted April 28, 2014 Report Posted April 28, 2014 <snip> ... </snip> And fuck, the Hawks look good. They could come out of the West again for the Finals. The Hawks look scary good. They basically swept the Blues after spotting them two, and yesterday they were throwing pucks into the net from everywhere. Maybe Al's Sharks can take them down. If not, a repeat of last year's finals (with different outcome, of course) would be a treat to watch. Quote
Voltron Posted April 28, 2014 Report Posted April 28, 2014 My Sharks need to wake up and end this thing tonight. A game 7 would be ridiculous. Quote
