To me, "neutral" has to do with the nature of the tone (per note) coming from the can and how much it's sound reflects the components behind it. For example: the HD650 definitely adds it's own sonic sig onto every insturment, the OII has the least sonic-sig of any can I've ever encountered. I remembered this thing from the meet and neil's system... and i think (wow, my entire audio experience may change, the ZD would be gone, the HD650, nothing would ever be the same again). saint.panda Posted May 26, 2007 Report Share Posted May 26, 2007 GS1000 were amazing on first listen, very pratty and involving like all Grados and with more soundstage, but with time, they just couldn't hold up, and certainly not for the price asked.
