deepak Posted June 20, 2012 Author Report Posted June 20, 2012 Wow! I didn't know that Don was that talented. I thought he only did obnoxious hockey broadcasts: fortunately this Don Cherry is one of the good Cherry's. One of the early pioneering free jazz'ers Quote
en480c4 Posted June 20, 2012 Report Posted June 20, 2012 Man, that's like my short term wish list. I've been in a bit of a rut and just went on a tear buying new music in the last few weeks. The Norah Jones disc was a big surprise. I liked it a lot more than expected, and is probably my favorite of the group so far. Though I've only given Ms. Apple's disc a few listens so far. It's nice to know you are still listening to the same stuff. Mostly, it's nice to have you posting again. Thanks, it's good to be back. It's been a busy last year, but that's no excuse for my extended absence! Quote

Dusty Chalk Posted July 10, 2012 Report Posted July 10, 2012 "Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats"? Never heard of them. What kind of music? I'm presuming there's at least a bit of a psychedelic influence (which to me is a good thing). Quote
