Dusty Chalk
I actually have all those Bruford records (Feels Good to Me, One of a Kind, and Gradually Going Tornado) back from when they originally came out -- love that stuff! Voltron
Electrelane - No Shouts, No Calls That's a good record, but you're not going to be able to go see them live in 2010 unless they end their hiatus.
tom_hankins
Picked up three more of the 45RPM Blue Notes today. Two are older release and one fairly new. Gil Melle "Patterns in Jazz" Freddy Hubbard "Here to Stay" Horace Parlan "On the Spur of a Moment"
Voltron
Gil Melle "Patterns in Jazz" One of the surprises from the series. Never heard it or even of Gil Melle, and I seriously love that record.

Never heard it or even of Gil Melle, and I seriously love that record. Thats great to hear! I havent listened to it yet, the shop owner suggested it. I think my two favorites so far have been Hank Mobley ROLL CALL, and Art Blakey THE BIG BEAT.

Wmcmanus
The Last Waltz (bluray) Oh ya, that too. I about crapped when I saw it on Amazon for $10.49, but I guess it's kind of old news these days (I mean, the performance itself). Funny though. I've got it on CD and DVD and at one time probably had it on vinyl as well. It's never looked or sounded so good (per the reviews, although I don't have my copy yet), and it's never been nearly so cheap.
