I opened it up last night, and didn't see anything obvious, and didn't see anything that looked like a fuse...at least not the glass tubes I was expecting.

Some fuses are ceramic, but in this case I don't think a ceramic fuse would be used. Didn't some other folks have trouble with the power switches on the older toaster MPX amps?

I assume that you checked the IEC inlet to make sure that it doesn't have a built in fuse. It might not be the most obvious thing and I don't know if Mikhail has ever used inlets of that type. It might looking something like this.

Also, it could definitely be something like the switch. If you've got a DMM it should be pretty easy to check the continuity at the switch (with the power disconnected for safety of course).

Let us know what you're able to check.

The whole thing cracks me up. I mean, shit, the most important thing about comedy is timing, and someone squoze comedy into an animated .gif -- fucking brillo.
