skullguise Posted March 18, 2017 Report Posted March 18, 2017 Just read about it. RIP, another true legend gone.....
Craig Sawyers Posted March 19, 2017 Report Posted March 19, 2017 RIP Chuck. Another legend bows out, but at least he had a long life.
swt61 Posted March 19, 2017 Report Posted March 19, 2017 (edited) RIP Chuck. Edited March 19, 2017 by swt61
Voltron Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 As somebody more clever than I said: First we lost Chuck Berry over the weekend and now Chuck Barris is gone. RIP Chuck. I hope you and Gene are dancing together again. 3
MexicanDragon Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 I randomly watched Confessions of a Dangerous Mind 2 days ago. That was a movie I love, and while it is what piqued my interest in the man, it's enough to make me wish I saw more of him. RIP.**BRENT**Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
guzziguy Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 RIP Chuck Barris! Watching the "Gong Show" was a guilty pleasure. Thanks. 1
skullguise Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 Oh, man, loved him and that show. RIP Chuck.....
jpelg Posted March 23, 2017 Report Posted March 23, 2017 (edited) ^This. Watching that show in the mid-70's highlighted my appreciation for a quirky, dry sense of humor. No one else in my family 'got it'. RIP Chuck Barris. Edited March 23, 2017 by jpelg 1
HemiSam Posted March 23, 2017 Report Posted March 23, 2017 So much talent gone with the wind... RIP, Chuck Berry. Chuck Barris...well that was formative stuff for me. RIP, sir. HS
Craig Sawyers Posted March 27, 2017 Report Posted March 27, 2017 (edited) RIP the victims of the car atrocity in London on 22nd. The entirely home grown British citizen from Kent, married with three children, who after a host of aliases and violent past converted to Islam, hired a car and drove along the pavement at pedestrians on Westminster Bridge towards the Houses of Parliament. Got out and knifed a policeman to death before being shot dead. Total elapsed time, 80 seconds. Two dead at scene (including an American tourist), plus the policeman and the madman. One has died since, and many with life changing injuries. 29 casualties in total. Looks like he was acting alone, although of course ISIS has claimed he was one of their "soldiers". But that is precisely what they would say. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/03/24/london-attack-eight-suspected-associates-westminster-terrorist/ Edited March 27, 2017 by Craig Sawyers
Dusty Chalk Posted March 27, 2017 Report Posted March 27, 2017 Yeah, I heard about that the other day, I'm at a complete loss for words.
MexicanDragon Posted April 1, 2017 Report Posted April 1, 2017 RIP Gilbert Baker, creator of the rainbow flag. http://www.advocate.com/people/2017/3/31/rainbow-flag-creator-and-activist-gilbert-baker-has-died-65 **BRENT**
Voltron Posted April 1, 2017 Report Posted April 1, 2017 RIP Arthur Blythe. Jazz is dying at an alarming rate.
n_maher Posted April 1, 2017 Report Posted April 1, 2017 As the Stones eloquently said, what a drag it is getting old. 1
