swt61 Posted December 12, 2020 Report Posted December 12, 2020 (edited) RIP Charlie Pride. He became a huge Country Music star at a time when a Black Country singer was unheard of. He did it with a positive attitude and a bucket load of class. They wouldn't even put his picture on his first two albums. Covid-19 sucks ass! Edited December 12, 2020 by swt61 7

Craig Sawyers Posted December 14, 2020 Report Posted December 14, 2020 RIP David Cornwell (John le Carré). Superb novelist over the decades. Aged 89, so not too bad an innings. 3
Craig Sawyers Posted December 14, 2020 Report Posted December 14, 2020 RIP Barbara Windsor. Probably not that well known in the US, but in the UK famous for being in all the Carry On movies, and long time member of the cast of a popular soap East Enders. Aged 83 from Alzheimers. She continued acting for three years after diagnosis. Quite a character; in her 20's she had affairs with the East End gangsters the Krays.
