RIP Bobby Brown, Jr.  Bobby Sr. has quite the legacy of drug related and early deaths:

Whitney Houston dead at 48

Daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown dead at 22

Former ward and nearly son in law Nick Gordon dead at 30.

Bobby Jr. dead at 28. No cause given yet but allegedly "no signs of foul play."

I hope his remaining five children fare better.

RIP Jan Morris. You lead a fascinating life.
“Her life story was crammed with romance, discovery and adventure. She was a soldier, an award-winning journalist, a novelist and - as a travel writer - became a poet of time and place.
She was known also a pioneer in her personal life, as one of the first high-profile figures to change gender.”

I've just checked into this thread again - I can hardly type for laughing!

OMG the thread moved on - that was in reply to Tice's comment on the last page on Nov 9th!!

Back to the current posts. So sad that Maradonna has gone. Such a flawed genius in the same way that George Best was. Best drank himself to death, and Diego Maradonna had the same demons.

RIP David Prowse.

Before he was Darth, he was The Green Cross Code man.

In the UK, in all it's 70's glory.

And he was overdubbed in that as well, because of his west country accent.

RIP, Darth "Farmer"

RIP Chuck.

He may be the "ace of aces" with "the right stuff" but it is hard to think about him the same way after the black astronaut candidates on a recent PBS special, Chasing the Moon, described how Yeager went out of his way to ensure a black man wouldn't go in to space in the 60s and 70s.
