Knuckledragger Posted January 25, 2020 Report Posted January 25, 2020 Not a person, but I just heard that Ozzie the cat died last night. His antics were the stuff of legend: There was a time when if you did a GIS for "Where is your god meow?" this image was the top result. 1 6
Knuckledragger Posted January 26, 2020 Report Posted January 26, 2020 Holy shit. Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter accident. He was 41. 5
robm321 Posted January 26, 2020 Report Posted January 26, 2020 Terrible, I can't believe I'm typing this but RIP Kobe.
Aura Posted January 26, 2020 Report Posted January 26, 2020 Life is fleeting as fuck. Kobe was the ultimate competitor, i'm thankful he was able to show how successful he could be in life after sports. RIP.

Augsburger Posted January 26, 2020 Report Posted January 26, 2020 RIP Kobe. The reports say that he was on his way to Mamba Academy which is in town and where we organized a international fencing camp and a few competitions. Sadder when the tragedy strikes so close.
Pars Posted January 26, 2020 Report Posted January 26, 2020 RIP Kobe! That is terrible. And with his daughter. I don't follow BB much, but he seemed like a classy player, and that he was doing good things since he retired from BB.
skullguise Posted January 27, 2020 Report Posted January 27, 2020 RIP to Kobe, Gianna, John Altobelli, and the others in the crash. A huge loss.....
guzziguy Posted January 27, 2020 Report Posted January 27, 2020 RIP Kobe, Gianna and all who perished in the helicopter. ?

Craig Sawyers Posted January 27, 2020 Report Posted January 27, 2020 Even in the UK, where basketball is not a big thing, this hit the main BBC news on both the TV and radio. Shocking news. RIP Kobe and Gianna As Nate says, helicopters (and light aircraft for that matter) have a bad record for safety.
Dusty Chalk Posted January 28, 2020 Report Posted January 28, 2020 https://twistedsifter.com/videos/kobe-bryant-animated-short-film-dear-basketball/ He won an Oscar! (And I have to admit, my heart leapt to my throat when he said, “...time to say goodbye...”)
TMoney Posted January 29, 2020 Report Posted January 29, 2020 Some touching words about Kobe from Jerry West and Shaq. Jerry is just one of the classiest guys. 1
Voltron Posted February 2, 2020 Report Posted February 2, 2020 RIP Andy Gill of Gang of Four at age 64. Of pneumonia. Fuck that. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2020/02/01/arts/music/andy-gill-dead.amp.html 7
Hopstretch Posted February 2, 2020 Report Posted February 2, 2020 Goodbye goodbye goodbye goodbye goodbye etc. 3
skullguise Posted February 2, 2020 Report Posted February 2, 2020 Oh, man, RIP Andy.....several friends listened to Gang Of Four, but their appearance in the movie "URGH! A Music War" got me into them more. So many great songs, such a unique sound. "What We All Want" used to play in my head SO much! 2
