MexicanDragon
This one gets me a bit, as the front of a band that I spent years thinking was a guilty pleasure, but really I just liked. RIP, Chester Bennington of Linkin Parkhttp://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/chester-bennington-linkin-park-singer-dead-at-41-w493387 And @ Martin Landau. **BRENT**

jpelg
RIP Daliah Lavi - actress, singer, passed away at 74 years of age on May 4, 2017. This clip from the original 1967 Casino Royale was just about the sexiest thing I'd ever seen during my young, formative years: I have no idea if she wasĀ particularly talented otherwise. But the fact that I came across this news on a somewhat random web-search, &Ā seeing that she had passed away recently with little, if any (that I saw) fanfare made me a little melancholy.

masamoto
I had a small breakdown yesterday. LP helped me through some teenage drugs problems I had. Fucking hurts like hell even after so many years. I like to believe that I would be different today had he not shared his own pain throughĀ their music.
swt61
While I'm certain that I could recognize a Linkin Park song if I heard it, I could not name one. But without a doubt, Rod Stewart's The Killing of Gorgie got me through some very tough times. Music is a very powerful force! RIP Chester Bennington
Craig Sawyers
I told my son and daughter about Chester Bennington, and talked to my son today on the phone. His take was that yes, it was a real tragedy but he was not really surprised; he said "in hindsight, listening to some recent Linkin Park last night, Bennington was pretty anguished". And apparently a good friend of his in another band (Chris Cornell) killed himself in the same way (by hanging) in May, which may have been a major contributing factor.
