When I was I think 13, my brother got a friend and me into Kentucky Fried Movie.  Little did I know then that the makers would become some of my favorite comedy film creators!

Need to watch Top Secret and Police Squad (TV series) again now....

RIP Zakir Hussain way too young at 73. The tabla legend (and son of a legend) crossed so many musical boundaries and was amazing to see perform. He also seemed like a really nice man at SFJAZZ events. Our own prodigal member @neilvg did some work with him and but I don't know if he'll even get pinged from this reference. In any event, RIP to the legend.

RIP Rickey Henderson at 65. All time base stealer whose record is likely bullet proof. He was a lot of fun to watch, even if he was on the A's.

RIP Gordon Mah Ung, PCWorld editor and hardware journalist.  He made occasional appearances on the GamersNexus YouTube channel.  His spicy takes and ability to lambast industry incompetence and malfeasance was the stuff of legend.  Pancreatic cancer is one of the absolute worst.
