R.I.P. Bea.

Dorothy's Golden Lab Bea. She turned 1 year old early this week then passed suddenly on Thursday.

It's believed that she ate something outside that caused the issue. Poisonous mushroom may have been the culprit. Bea was the sweetest, friendliest dog. She was a gorgeous blonde haired, pink nosed ball of joy. I will miss her!

Dorothy is devastated, as expected.

Super sad, but Bea was in really bad shape and Dorothy knew that she didn't want her to suffer. I'm still in denial because I saw Bea when she was sick on Tuesday but it didn't remotely enter my mind it could be terminal. I've been at my brother's since Wednesday morning so I experienced this all by text and phone. 😢

Enjoyable for many years.

  • As the therapist in Grosse Pointe Blank
  • As the Lieutenant in The Russians Are Coming the Russians Are Coming
  • As the father in Edward Scissorhands
  • As George in Glengarry Glen Ross

Thanks Alan - RIP.

^^^ Just came here to post the same, @Voltron.  If/when further details emerge I would not be surprised if the situation only comes more sad.  It was news to me that her son committed suicide last night.  That’s an unimaginable level of grief to me.

Wow, this one hit like a gut punch.....RIP to an amazing person.

I used to argue for her when so many were crapping on her for tearing up the pope's picture.  Compare that to what was done to thousands of kids BY that very church....

Her voice was incredible, the passion of every song evident.

RIP to a truly great one that did not deserve the bad she got.  May she truly rest in peace.

You pick the musical personality that defined the punk/rock attitude for you. Taking on the church or Frank Sinatra it’s always been her for me. Like a lot of soon to be parents I started thinking of the music I wanted to introduce to our child. Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds and O’Conner’s I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got were one and two. Celebrate the beautiful. Tear down the opposite.
