swt61 Posted July 31, 2022 Report Posted July 31, 2022 RIP Isabella. I guess Nichelle's Son finally has his grubby hands on her money. He's a worthless shit. 1
skullguise Posted August 1, 2022 Report Posted August 1, 2022 (edited) So sorry Jim, RIP to a great pup.... And RIP to two what I consider legends in their fields! I had read that Nichelle spent a decent amount of time helping NASA get women & minorities interested in the Sciences..... Edited August 1, 2022 by skullguise 2 1

Craig Sawyers Posted August 2, 2022 Report Posted August 2, 2022 RIP Isabella - what a nice doggy. She had a great life from the pics. But it sure is tough to say goodbye to an animal companion. The difficult kind thing to do. And RIP Nichelle Nichols. Alas boldly gone. 5 1

Glad he took the show more serious and think about the chicken scene a few times every year since it aired. 1
mikeymad Posted August 3, 2022 Report Posted August 3, 2022 (edited) RIP Vin Scully 94. I was never a Doger fan but growing up in SoCal, I was a fan of listening to Vin. Edit - "..you think about the great great players, none of them were any better at what they did than Vin Scully was at what he did." - Bob Costas Edited August 3, 2022 by mikeymad 5
robm321 Posted August 4, 2022 Report Posted August 4, 2022 RIP VS. Dodgers suck but he was the best to ever do it IMO. 3
shellylh Posted August 4, 2022 Report Posted August 4, 2022 RIP to Vin. Spent my childhood listening to him - Dad's a big Dodgers fan. 3
MoonShine Posted August 4, 2022 Report Posted August 4, 2022 (edited) Is "suck" code for best record in baseball right now? Just wondering Edited August 4, 2022 by MoonShine 2
Voltron Posted August 5, 2022 Report Posted August 5, 2022 Giants have lost 8 in a row to them so I can't really say much more than the Dodgers still suck even if they are good! 1
guzziguy Posted August 7, 2022 Report Posted August 7, 2022 RIP Judith Durham of the Seekers. There will never be another you. This one really hurts. 3

guzziguy Posted August 8, 2022 Report Posted August 8, 2022 RIP Olivia. Sorry Oz, you're having a tough week. 1 1
skullguise Posted August 8, 2022 Report Posted August 8, 2022 Olivia Newton-John is a minor deity in my book, a beautiful woman inside and out. All this even though I wasn't so much into her music.... RIP.....and fuck cancer....all types, but especially mbc..... 3
Hopstretch Posted August 8, 2022 Report Posted August 8, 2022 Saw Grease when I was 10 and Sandy Olsson gave me some completely new feelings. Olivia seemed like a terrific person in real life too. RIP. 1 1
swt61 Posted August 9, 2022 Report Posted August 9, 2022 This sad indeed. I grew up on her early music. Believe it or not, I still haven't seen Grease and have no interest in doing so. But she did seem like a pretty down to earth and good person. And she was a fellow member of the Rainbow Club after all! R.I.P. Olivia "I honestly love you".
Dusty Chalk Posted August 9, 2022 Report Posted August 9, 2022 Never was a huge fan, but she affected so many people so positively and brought so much joy to the world, I still feel the world just got a little bit darker. 1
mikeymad Posted August 9, 2022 Report Posted August 9, 2022 A lot of my 80's were ruled by Olivia. I watched Xanadu (thanks for the clip G) countless times. The blend of her and ELO was magic to me. RIP Olivia You are suspended in time.
