TMoney Posted February 27, 2020 Report Posted February 27, 2020 (edited) RIP Clive Cussler. Used to love those Dirk Pitt books on planes and vacations. Along with the Clancy stuff they are damn near ideal beach reads. Also like the Clancy stuff they probably haven't aged all that well Edited February 27, 2020 by TMoney

Voltron Posted March 6, 2020 Report Posted March 6, 2020 RIP McCoy Tyner. This is really sad news. But he's one of the greats who I got to see play many times and I have a lot of memories. It was especially awesome when McCoy and Bobby Hutcherson played together, which they did as recently as 2016. With both of them gone, we're getting awfully low on jazz legends. 😢 https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2020/03/06/arts/music/mccoy-tyner-dead.amp.html 1 8
recstar24 Posted March 7, 2020 Report Posted March 7, 2020 I’m spinning all my BN catalog with Tyner in memoriam tonight started with real McCoy, finishing up some side work with Freddie Hubbard, and will next move on to his work with Wayne shorter. RIP 2

Knuckledragger Posted March 21, 2020 Report Posted March 21, 2020 I really like some of Kenny's pop country joints. Islands in the Stream is a personal favorite for what? nearly 40 years.
