Knuckledragger Posted May 25, 2018 Report Posted May 25, 2018 RIP John "TotalBiscuit the Cynical Brit" Bain. July 8, 1984 - May 24, 2018. Cancer is an MFer. 3
catscratch Posted May 25, 2018 Report Posted May 25, 2018 RIP TB. Pretty much the first youtuber I ever seriously watched. The gaming industry is today just a bit worse off than it was yesterday.
skullguise Posted June 1, 2018 Report Posted June 1, 2018 (edited) RIP David Wilson of Wilson Audio. By all accounts a great guy, whatever you may think of his speakers and their cost. And...fuck cancer.....only 74...... Edited June 1, 2018 by skullguise 2
mikeymad Posted June 2, 2018 Report Posted June 2, 2018 Rip John and David. I have heard some killer systems with watt/puppy.
Torpedo Posted June 2, 2018 Report Posted June 2, 2018 A few days ago died Maria Dolores Pradera, a Spanish singer and actress at 93. She had the kind of elegance and wit that reminded me of Lauren Bacall. She had a wonderful voice. She used to tour and record with "los Gemelos", a guitarist twin brothers duo suiting perfectly her music style. She was a big part of the soundtrack in my childhood (early childhood I'd say) since in the sixties she was at her prime of popularity, although she kept singing, acting and recording until a few years ago. In this video there's an additional guitarist to our left. A long wonderfully lived life. 5 1
skullguise Posted June 2, 2018 Report Posted June 2, 2018 RIP Maria. I think your Lauren Bacall comparison is spot on, even just from seeing her in that video.....
robm321 Posted June 5, 2018 Report Posted June 5, 2018 RIP Dwight Clark. Too young. Thanks for that epic moment. 1
HemiSam Posted June 5, 2018 Report Posted June 5, 2018 (edited) RIP Mssrs Bain and Wilson. Vaya con Dios Sra. Pradera... RIP Mr. Clark. HS Edited June 5, 2018 by HemiSam 1
skullguise Posted June 5, 2018 Report Posted June 5, 2018 RIP Dwight Clark....and fuck ALS..... We saw a short on TV that - thanks to the funds from the ice bucket challenge - that there may be some more progress towards battling/curing ALS. I hope that's true....horrible disease to go through or witness.... 1
Voltron Posted June 5, 2018 Report Posted June 5, 2018 RIP Dwight. 61 is ridiculously young. Fuck ALS. 1

Hopstretch Posted June 8, 2018 Report Posted June 8, 2018 Ugh. Used to frequent Les Halles, er, frequently back in the day. It too came to a sad end. RIP Tony. 1
grawk Posted June 8, 2018 Report Posted June 8, 2018 Tony wasn’t the patron saint of head case, but he damn sure could’ve been. I am going to have some whiskey and a steak tonight in his honor. 4
