skullguise Posted November 22, 2017 Report Posted November 22, 2017 (edited) Goodbye to an icon, Arnie Nudell......RIP. I can't tell how many times I lusted after speakers with his EMIT and EMIM drivers.....still take second and third looks on Craigslist and the like if they're advertised. Paul McGowan of PS Audio said there will be a website (arnienudell.com) honoring him. Well-deserved at the very minimum.... Edited November 22, 2017 by skullguise Quote
ironbut Posted November 23, 2017 Report Posted November 23, 2017 RIP Della and Arnie! I almost bought a pair of used RS-2a's a while back and the Servo Static was an early eye opener for me. Those were kind of the "Cowboy Days" of audio IMHO. Quote
swt61 Posted November 23, 2017 Report Posted November 23, 2017 RIP David. I'll admit to having a crush on you in the seventies, as well as your Brother Shaun. Quote

However, he came to me in a dream a few days ago. He was checking out the new fish in the reef tank like he always did, I thought someone broke in, I went to approach and realized it was him. He said its ok, it's ok son, then he was gone. I felt very calm when I woke up in the morning like a weight was lifted. I'm guessing that was him saying goodbye 5 Quote
skullguise Posted November 29, 2017 Report Posted November 29, 2017 ^^ Incredible story....sometimes I wonder about our subconscious, and its way of telling us things.... And man, RIP Charles Hansen. Original tragedy was his accident and paralysis, now yet another tragedy.... Quote
sbelyo Posted November 29, 2017 Report Posted November 29, 2017 yeah, could've very well been my subconscious. I'll take it either way Quote
