His Eurovision commentary was part of the fun.

Just rewatched the episode of N M T B he hosted on hearing the news.

That's another national treasure gone.

Thanks for that Graeme - I laughed so much it is incomprehensible that he has gone.  From the date-stamp 6 years ago - so he must have been 71 then, and looked nothing like it. And multiple Bowie mentions too....

Interesting read. Bob Elliot was a bit before my time. I've of course heard many references to the Bob and Ray show, but really don't remember it. RIP.

Chris Elliot was always my favorite character on Letterman. He was just genuinely goofy and had great rapport with Dave.

RIP Sugarbear, sympathies to family and friends.  With that nickname, you have to think he was a good guy....
