Voltron
RIP Marques and Nashes and Meara. I loved the Globetrotters and Stiller & Meara as a kid.
Voltron
I *usually* wear seat belts in a cab on the freeway, but given that John Nash and his wife were ejected and died while the seat-belted cab driver and driver of the other car had non-lifethreatening injuries I think I'll be more careful in the future. Sad.
ironbut
Very sad about the Nashes. Good wake up call for me about "why" I should wear seat belts (it's not just about not getting tickets). Â I always loved Meara. Stiller kind of scared me as a kid. Great team!

HeadphoneAddict
I didn't even know Beau was sick. Â My 54 year old brother has stage 4 lung cancer, so I'm familiar with the suckage factor with that disease.

Voltron
Oh, that hurts. I'm so glad that I saw him perform, but wanted to see him again before he was gone. The last time we had tickets he cancelled for health reasons and never made it back to the area. I'm gonna have to play The Shape of Jazz to Come and some others.
