roadtonowhere08 Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 (edited) One of the only game series that excites me anymore, mostly due to a lack of time for more involved games. I mainly just explore and blow stuff up. Rockstar released a video of actual in game footage, and I have to say, I am really looking forward to this one.... once it is released for PC (fingers crossed it is not a shitty port like IV). http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=N-xHcvug3WI Edited July 10, 2013 by roadtonowhere08
postjack Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 I love the GTA series and am therefore excited for the PC release. The use of multiple lead characters has me concerned. I hope its not too complicated. I get confused when I have to control too many characters. This is the reason I could never get into any of the Dragon Age games. I prefer the more solitary gameplay of the Elder Scrolls.
deepak Posted July 15, 2013 Report Posted July 15, 2013 One of the BIG things that took me out of IV was the more realistic driving physics. I'm not sure if more realistic is the right description, the driving feels so floaty in IV. It just wasn't very fun to aimlessly drive around when you can't power slide turn through stop lights at 50+ mph That's what made those PS2 era GTA games so fun, especially San Andreas. The laid back driving physics plus huge game world made it so you could just pick up the game, drive around for 20 minutes and still enjoy yourself. I doubt R* will change anything given the massive critical accalim of IV.
roadtonowhere08 Posted July 15, 2013 Author Report Posted July 15, 2013 Totally agree, deepak. I did not play IV nearly as much as III, VC, and especially SA (by far the best GTA thus far).
