I didn't see it, but the accounts of this and photos that were circulated were absolutely insane when it was happening.  It wasn't even confined to the lakefront cottages, IIRC - there were a few destroyed that were across the street.

Very painful to watch. sure hope the factory across the street is built with thicker reinforced

concrete...

 

why the museum was built this crappy, who knows. just a slab of concrete holding probably

50 thousand pounds of irreplaceable cars under a glass dome that probably was not

safe either. Kinda stupid.

 

They should be able to retrieve and repair at least 6 of the 8 cars.
