Knuckledragger Posted June 19, 2013 Report Posted June 19, 2013 Ya rly. I am both unsurprised and waiting for him to say "Nah, just playing." Of course, many IDM fans (a group of conspiracy theorists if there ever was one, ask them about Boards of Canada some time) have long suspected this to be true. The only artist (besides Massive Attack) that Burial has collaborated with is Four Tet.
Torpedo Posted June 19, 2013 Report Posted June 19, 2013 What's the conspiracy theory about Boards of Canada?
Grahame Posted June 19, 2013 Report Posted June 19, 2013 He could tell you, but then: He'd have to Kill you? The Black Helicopters would come for you?
Knuckledragger Posted June 19, 2013 Author Report Posted June 19, 2013 It's not any one specific theory. There is a legion of rumors about their early/rare BoC releases. Check out their Discogs entry, especially the early stuff.
Torpedo Posted June 19, 2013 Report Posted June 19, 2013 I see, I knew their early albums were unobtainium, but I thought there could be other rumors.
Pars Posted June 20, 2013 Report Posted June 20, 2013 When I read this thread title, my first thought was "Which of our new non-native English speaking friends started this thread?" Sorry, carry on...
postjack Posted June 20, 2013 Report Posted June 20, 2013 Just caught Four Tet live at Bonnaroo this weekend. Great set, a wonderful contrast to the untzy electro stuff that I normally see at festivals these days.
Knuckledragger Posted June 20, 2013 Author Report Posted June 20, 2013 ^ Man, I'm jelly. Four Tet is high up on the list of electronic artists I've never seen live and really want to. I posted this video in Slower Forum a while back. Kieran Hebden really is a music nerd's music nerd.
