guzziguy Posted May 25, 2013 Report Posted May 25, 2013 (edited) Sorry, but I think a precedent of approval of the relationship has been set by the parents not saying anything during the weeks/months(/years?) leading up to the kid's birthday. I doubt that they approved of it at all, but that there wasn't anything that they could do about it until the kid was legally an adult. It was a dumb move on their part however, as they may have lost their daughter forever by their action. I also agree 100% with Al's post. Edited May 25, 2013 by guzziguy

If they knew about the relationship and did nothing about it (legally, or, fuck that, as parents), they were endorsing the relationship. No, if they knew about it, were against it, and still did nothing, they were using their own child as a pawn. That's more fucked up than anything.
