luvdunhill Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 So that part is like an ebony extension?
Matt_Carter Posted January 6, 2014 Report Posted January 6, 2014 I guess... Longer the better, so they say?
cetoole Posted January 8, 2014 Report Posted January 8, 2014 Added a balanced termination to a stock Senn cableuploadfromtaptalk1373203797618.jpg If anyone has some cheap extra grills I would be interested... Ran across a spare pair of 580 grills that are yours if you want them.
eugenius Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 Quick question: can you take out the LEMO and XLR connectors from the Sennheiser HD800 balanced cable and reuse them for another cable or are they glued?
nopants Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 (edited) figured I'd post this here, no other appropriate place. had some old ribbon nordost rca cables that I wanted to use for xlr duty. ended up using copper braid for ground because it conforms to the ribbon shape well: seems to work without issue so I'm content. I'm considering similarly covering up the ugly kinks in some goertz cables: is there anything you can do to keep the braid from oxidizing? Edited April 25, 2015 by nopants
luvdunhill Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Does anyone know someone that might be willing to "balance" a set of J-cable A-T headphones? Either keep it a J and use a TRRS cable (need the verify it isn't this way already), or convert it to a Y. Just looking to farm out the work
swt61 Posted February 4, 2016 Report Posted February 4, 2016 Anyone have a short stereo mini phono to stereo mini phono lying around? I'd like to buy it for my jobsite rig.
Grand Enigma Posted February 13, 2016 Author Report Posted February 13, 2016 You would want two short mini plugs wouldn't you.
luvdunhill Posted May 6, 2016 Report Posted May 6, 2016 Apparently HD800 cables are not bunny proof why couldn't the bunny have worked on the power cables not a few feet from the headphones?
G600 Posted May 7, 2016 Report Posted May 7, 2016 Just eat it. But not too soon, unless it'll taste oxygen free copper and teflon.
luvdunhill Posted January 13, 2017 Report Posted January 13, 2017 Truly lovely. Is it for a soundbar? No, it goes to this:You can see it exiting the cabinet here Overhead 3
Craig Sawyers Posted January 13, 2017 Report Posted January 13, 2017 I particularly like the heatshrink sleeving over the braid. That is really tough to do without melting the braid. 1
