n_maher Posted April 17, 2013 Report Posted April 17, 2013 and just like that they retract the statement saying that no arrests have been made. I hate the 24 hour news cycle. Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted April 17, 2013 Report Posted April 17, 2013 They did something really cool -- they went through all the videos and synchronized them with cell phone tower information and they found someone who made a call at the exact same time as the second explosion who also dropped a package off at the location of the second explosion. So now they have the name associated with that number, someone to question, but they don't know if it's the same person as in the video. This is from my local news radio station, WTOP, which has been extremely conservative about prematurely reporting information. I usually hear about rumours as denials first, for example. Quote

Also, here's the Snopes page that's being update often about pictures that pop up. Should be a good thing to keep track of. **BRENT** Quote
blessingx Posted April 19, 2013 Report Posted April 19, 2013 Damn, there was a guy at both the Boston Marathon and Waco fertilizer blasts? "I just want to get out of here and get away from all these explosions." Quote
