tkam Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 The site will be down for an extended period of time (at least a few hours) sometime during the following time frame: Friday, February 9, 2007 9:00pm - 5:00am MST. Our hosting provider is moving into a new data center facility and will be physically moving the server at some point during the previously listed time frame.
tkam Posted February 12, 2007 Author Report Posted February 12, 2007 There will be some additional downtime today. It's related to the server move on Friday and some issues the provider is having with their cooling system. Should only be down for an hour at most.
tkam Posted February 12, 2007 Author Report Posted February 12, 2007 Ok guys sorry for the mess, the hosting provider managed to nuke some of the hardware in the server when they took it down while they were installing new cooling equipment in their new data center. Luckily I had just backed up the site prior to them taking the server down so I was able to move the site to a different server for the time being. As of now everything should be 100% working (still adding themes back though)
postjack Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 this bord sux wtf u guys shuold not go down fukn bs
Dusty Chalk Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 mesh is a pretty cool theme.Good enough, anyway. Thanks for saying something before I started complaining about the lack of black.
909 Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 will all the themes that we use to have be restored?
909 Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Please bring back those other themes particularly pdx-dk05. The layout and look here is too Head-Fi reminiscent and it's really starting to freak me out.
ojnihs Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Please bring back those other themes particularly pdx-dk05. The layout and look here is too Head-Fi reminiscent and it's really starting to freak me out. First the tristania album freaks you out and now this...what's next!
909 Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 First the tristania album freaks you out and now this...what's next! The album didn't freak me out, but gave me the heebie-jeebies because she has such a grim and forbidding glance and all those big bugs I don't know what's next, I wish I knew.
grawk Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 The album didn't freak me out, but gave me the heebie-jeebies because she has such a grim and forbidding glance and all those big bugs I don't know what's next, I wish I knew. What's the difference between something freaking you out and something giving you the heebie-jeebies?
909 Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 I was joking around and intentionally overstated things. I doubt an explanation would alter your impression that those terms are not unlike, but since you asked I meant freak-out as a wildly irrational reaction and heebie-jeebies as a nervous fear or anxiety.

Makes sense to me, thanks

tkam Posted November 17, 2007 Author Report Posted November 17, 2007 Since I'm too lazy to start a new thread, there will be a brief amount of downtime tonight. Probably under 5 minutes it should occur sometime in the next hour.
justin Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 I like the Dirge theme This default theme is blinding Dusty Chalk
tkam Posted November 17, 2007 Author Report Posted November 17, 2007 They didn't disappear they were removed
Dusty Chalk Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 I'm going to have to wear sunglasses -- any chance of putting them back? Why were they removed, for that other thing you were talking about? Didn't you read my black is green link in the slow forum thread? We're wasting millions of picowatt-hours (too lazy to do the math).
tkam Posted February 29, 2008 Author Report Posted February 29, 2008 There will be roughly 20-30min of downtime starting at approx. 1:30pm EST.
tkam Posted February 29, 2008 Author Report Posted February 29, 2008 Maintenance completed @ ~ 1:50 PM EST
