Anyone else watching this Beau Willimon/David Fincher/Kevin Spacey/Netflix project? They released all 13 episodes up front. Anyway the pilot's goofy ending scene dialog had me scared, but it's picking up.

Just finished the second episode; had to slap myself so as not to watch a third. Enjoying it so far...

I got in the first two last night even though I was beat so that I could catch up with Claire.  Also enjoying so far, and liked the second ep better.

Watched the first half episode at the airport, will continue this week.  I enjoyed the little I saw so far.

As someone who typically doesn't give a fuck about politics I enjoyed the first episode and the only reason I didn't finish the second was because I fell asleep.

 

EDIT: I like learning about the nature politics and just hate (never watch) watching the news and listening to people's opinions.

raffy, watch The Newsroom on HBO.  The first season finished.  Besides being great, Olivia Munn is in it.

Yes, I have watched that show. It was great, I loved it and I wish it comes back for another season (I think I read somewhere it got picked up for a 2nd season). Honestly, I never found Olivia Munn all that until this show. She's way hotter when she's acting vs. in Maxim or FHM.

Have to point out that the Netflix Version is an Adaptation of a BBC Series. (a friend has the DVD's if you are interested)

Saw this Atlantic Wire article earlier, which briefly goes over some of the numbers behind Netflix creating their own show.  ~$100 million for 26 episodes (2 seasons) but potentially worth the cost.

Just finished this. Started great and got a bit uneven but overall I liked it. No fault of the cast though, they are wonderful.

 

Similar to the Arrested Development 4th season this has pleasantly exceeded my expectations. Definitely in for season 2.

On the contrary, I think I enjoyed season 2 a bit more than season 1. They may have gotten a little too cute with the plot for their own good, but I generally liked it better than season 1.

The original bbc series is great, but as usual they just did twelve episodes and ended it at the end of the story. No drawn out, excessive and extraneous seasons. Stupid bbc.

I for one like season 2 better. Also for some reason the show makes me wish Rubicon had gotten renewed.
